Accessible and Convenient Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing With WellHealth Works

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to affect and claim lives. However, testing is one way to defeat the spread of this virus. But the reality is that even though vaccines are now available, it will still take time before the U.S. population reaches herd immunity.

At WellHealth Works, we want to play our part in curbing the spread of the virus and promote the wellbeing of the American workforce. Get tested now to protect yourself and the people around you from COVID-19. Our drive-thru testing service makes it faster, easier, and safer to conduct swab tests without exposing you to possible contaminants.

Where Can You Get Tested?

If you’re exposed to people suspected to have COVID-19, you should get yourself tested now. The safest way to do that is through drive-thru testing. WellHealth Works is ready to administer your swab tests even inside your car.

For questions and bookings, you can contact us first at 833-935-9355. Our clinic is located at 2115 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33713.

You must be 18 years old or older.
You can drive to the testing site.
You are willing to sign the COVID-19 Public Health authorization and consent.

Should You Get Tested?

Generally, everyone is eligible for COVID-19 testing. However, we have specific requirements to ensure your eligibility:

People who are showing symptoms of COVID-19
People who had close contact (within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes) with COVID-19 confirmed cases
People who are significantly exposed to the risks of COVID-19 (e.g., recent travels, social gatherings, mass gatherings, frontline workers, hospital personnel)
People who are required to be tested as part of their company policy

Is COVID-19 Testing Free?

It depends on the type of test performed.

Viral Test

A viral test proves if a person currently has COVID-19. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) requires people to take the viral test if they show the virus’s symptoms or if they have been exposed to people with COVID-19. However, if you’re undergoing special treatments other than COVID-19-related problems, your doctor may require you to take a viral test before undergoing treatment.

As per CDC and the CARES Act, the viral test is free of charge regardless of immigrant status.

Antibody Test

An antibody test is a test used to detect if a person has acquired COVID-19 previously. This test works by checking a specific antibody created to beat COVID-19. Once a person recovers from COVID-19, the body’s immune system has developed an antibody that targets COVID-19. Hence, an antibody test won’t tell if you’re currently infected.

The antibody test is not free. However, people enrolled in Medicare can get an antibody test for free. In the case of other insurance companies, prices may vary.

COVID-19 Testing for Frontline, Healthcare Workers

rapid pcr covid test | Well Health Works

Medical front liners are exposed greatly to the COVID-19 virus, especially when they’re attending to COVID-19 positive patients. If you’re a frontline worker, being positive puts you, your patients, customers, and co-workers at risk. It’s best to ask your employer for company-specific guidelines regarding COVID-19 testing. The best option is that you perform self-quarantine after the COVID-19 test so that doctors can attest that you acquired the virus before the test, not after it.

Got any questions? Call us at 833-935-9355 or email us at We also offer other employee wellness services such as health screenings and flu shots.
